    Textbook choices
Which textbook would you recommend for:
    A. AP Physics 1
    B. Honors Physics
    C. General Physics

I used physicsclassroom.com for Honors and General last year, and it is OK, but not great. It would be good as a reference beyond a textbook. I am at a private school so the Honors and General students do not have to take the NY Regents Exam at the end of the year.

As for AP Physics 1, I used Kinetic Books Principles of Physics since that was what the teacher used last year, but I am not happy with it, and the students rarely used it, and instead used review guides and online resources.

    Thanks for any recommendations.

Which AP Physics 1 textbook would you prefer?
What were the issues you had with the Giancoli textbook? I am considering it and would like to know.

I've used as a reference for AP the OpenStax online/PDF textbook from Rice University.

Please follow the Instructions in the zip file below to make these questions work in your moodle course.
The zip folder of question images, and the .txt file necessary to make it all work in moodle is located here:

I have since streamlined the process a bit. Adding a Moodle Export Button to the Excel file above. Questions are actually images that must be hosted somewhere. For the time being, I have them hosted at www.mrhosey.com/RPhys, but ideally would would host the images somewhere public and under your control. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, but would like to, feel free to email me. (email address in Excel File).
